Aggie Banana
Ingredients:
Mixing instructions:Blend ice cream, milk, and frozen bananas until smooth. Add Schnapps, blend, and pour. Creator/contributor's comments:If ice flecks are desired, add ice and use fresh, not frozen, bananas. -- For best handling and taste, first peel and slice the bananas. Put them in an uncovered plastic bowl to freeze. Allow frost to form on them. -- I use vanilla ice cream for this drink. But I think it would also be good with almond ice cream. -- This is a great drink for banana lovers. The butterscotch gives it a nice sweet flavoring without overpowering the bananas. As far as I know, this is an original drink. I got the idea one day because I was making a banana shake and trying to get rid of some left over butterscotch instant pudding. So, I added the pudding to the shake, and it was wonderful. Then, I started experimenting and came up with this. I was not sure what to name the drink. I decided on Aggie Banana because I'm a student at Texas A&M University, and if it weren't for me being an Aggie, I would have never thought of this. WHOOP! |
