A cookie is a piece of information sent from a website (like The Webtender) and stored on your computer. The next time you ask that website for information, the cookie is sent back to the site. This way you can store information needed on a website, instead of entering it again and again every time you visit. Cookies cannot be used to get data or view data off your hard drive. The information sent from your computer to the website is the same the website sent you on a previous occation, and only that information.
In The Webtender cookies are used to store some of the information you enter, so that you won't have to enter it again the next time you visit. Cookies are used for the following features:
None of these cookies are set unless you use a feature in The Webtender that require the use of it, with the exception of the banner and visitor counting cookies, and no cookie is stored for more than one year. They are also compressed, so no more than 2000 bytes of disk space is used on your computer.
