Black Widow

Ingredients:

• 1 oz Absolut Citron
• 1 oz Black Sambuca (Opal Nera)

Mixing instructions:

Pour both over ice & shake. Strain into a martini glass and add a lemon twist for garnish.

Creator/contributor's comments:

Twist of lemon & citrus vodka cuts the sweetness of the Opal Nera, but still retains the classic licorice flavor from Sambuca. Hence, a Black Licorice Martini that can kill. Entered in OPAL NERA contest 1989 by yours truly.
